徳川家康
とくがわいえやす【徳川家康】
(1542-1616) 江戸幕府初代将軍(1603-1605)。 三河岡崎城主松平広忠の長男。 幼名竹千代, のち元信, 元康, 家康と改めた。 はじめ今川義元, のち織田信長と結び東海に勢力を拡大, 信長とともに甲斐武田氏を滅ぼす。 豊臣秀吉の天下統一後はこれに協力, 関八州を与えられ, 1590年江戸入府。 関ヶ原の戦勝を経て1603年征夷大将軍となり, 江戸に開幕。 将軍職を譲った後も大御所として実権を握り, 大坂冬・夏の陣で豊臣氏を滅ぼし, 統一を完成した。
